Ninth Annual Finstock Palm Sunday Sacred Harp singing was held on Sunday 13 April 2003. Bernard Collard called the class to order at 10.30 and led 59 to open the proceedings and then led the opening prayer.  Leaders followed, viz: Dave Townsend 84; Katie Mahoney 144; Adrian Bolge 156; Steve Fletcher 28B; Mandy Townsend 33B; Rachel Jordan 66; Margaret Gillanders 143; Arwen Lockley 178; Sheila Macadam 28T; Judy Whiting 171; Edwin Macadam 504; Bob Lilley 452B; Simon Beirne 34B; Paul Setford 40; Ruth Cooper assisted Karen Bullen in 361.

RECESS

There followed the Memorial lesson, led by Bernard Collard assisted by Katie Mahoney.  Thos remembered were: Roger March, Will Thomas, Roger Lewis (age 34), Barbara Lockley, Roy Bryan, Diana Hannah. Tom Mattock, Ken Burton, Peter Wright, Jack Bower. Vera Richardson, Chris White and Enid Griffin.  Number 267 was sung in their memory. There followed the lesson for the sick and the house-bound, led by Bernard Collard and aided by Val Wallace.  The following were those who were prayed for: Rosalind Oldham, Cass Till, Helen Brown, Joan Stocks, Len Roles, Sue Gould, John McDougall, Trevor, Marian White, Kate Richards, and Ken Robinson.448b was sung for them, led by Steve Fletcher. Then there followed viz: Sheila Girling Macadam 566; Judy Whiting 441; Edwin Macadam 436; Bob Lilley 569B; Dave Richardson 153; Paul Setford 37B; Ruth Cooper 447.

RECESS

There followed a break for notices of singings.
