Thirteenth Annual Finstock Palm Sunday Sacred Harp singing was held on Sunday 1 April 2007. The chairperson, Mandy Townsend called the class to order at 10.30a.m. and welcomed everyone to the 13th Finstock singing day. She invited Ken Baddley to lead the class in prayer and then led the first song, 31b. The memorial lesson was led by Ken Baddley who invited the class to think of all the names listed.
The names of the deceased were read out as listed: Alice Rose Cole, Lilian Shufflebotham, Vera Foster, Denise Abrahams, Don and Margaret Davis, Paul Wilkinson, Mary Ballinger (Texas), Flarce Creel (Alabama), Judy Terry. Ken Baddley led song 47b for the deceased. Steve Fletcher led the lesson for the Sick and Housebound. The names of the Sick and Housebound were read out as listed:  Irene Briggs, Sue Collard, Carolyn Pickering, Steve Saint, Paddy Broughton, Amanda Denson (Alabama), Maureen Gamlin, Laurie Dunn.She then led song 448b. Ken Baddley read out the names on the Celebrations list: Sally’s forthcoming baby; Jan and Dave’s new grandson named Harrison. Mandy Townsend led song 228 for those on the celebrations list.

The class resumed with Sarah Pinney leading song on page 74b.  Leaders: Margaret Gillanders 373; Dave Townsend 324; Rachel Jordan 280; Chris Brown 401; Ruth Steggles 147t; Edwin Macadam 538; Jennifer Cook 479.
