The second Goodshaw Sacred Harp Day was held at Goodshaw Baptist Church, in the United Kingdom, on Saturday before the second Sunday in March.

Judy Whiting began the day by leading 77b. Harry Sidebottom welcomed singers back to the church and said an opening prayer. David Ivey conducted a singing school for the new singers present and encouraged them to lead.

RECESS

Judy Whiting called the class back with 72b. Michael Walker conducted the memorial lesson and read the names of the deceased: Bob Meek (KY), Linda Champ of Winchester, Valerie Munday, George Seiler (NY), Kathleen Dunne, Frances Ceresa (MI), Ben Dickens, Cherry Shaw, Billy Williams (AL), Phyllis Bruce (CT), John Giles of Derbyshire, Bill Boyd of Oldham, Jerry Enright (IL) and Cliff Eriksen (NH). He also spoke for the sick and housebound: Jeff Shepherd, Philip Ralls, John Seaton, Hazel Walker, Charlottte Bailey, Jean Sidebottom, John Egglestone, Ethne Buckley, Debbie Culf, Kathy Armstrong, Stan Reeve, Coy & Marie Ivey, Teresa Parker, Maureen Gamlin, Gary Nightingale and Dwight Diller. For them he led 285t and said a prayer.
