The chairperson, Mandy Townsend, called the class to order at 10.30 a.m. and welcomed everyone to the 20th Palm Sunday singing day. She led the first song, 52t and then called upon Martin Williams to give the opening prayer.

The names of the Sick and Housebound were read out as listed: Dorothy William; Roland de Smet of Belgium; Jackie Saunders of Eynsham, Oxon; Patricia Price of Sutton, Surrey; Derek Smith of Little Kineton, Warwickshire; Angelina Bench of Southam, Warwickshire; Peter Gatenby of Warwick; and Roger Tyler of Kingsbridge. The names on the celebratory lesson were read as out listed: the birth of Molly Rose Halls on 25th February, second granddaughter for Sheila and Edwin Macadam. Steve Fletcher gave an address on recognizing the help of God and then led the song on page 336.

Mandy Townsend gave thanks to all those who had helped during the day and invited announcements of coming singings. A total of 94 items were led during the singing day by 24 leaders. Martin Williams offered the closing prayer before Dave and Mandy Townsend closed the singing by leading song 323t.
